It was a place to rest.
I wasn't impressed with anything about the facility. The staff was OK, but the overall experience was not good.
Bugs in the bathroom, stains on the wall.
The location was very convenient and the Staff was very friendly.
Could have had a larger selection for breakfast.
Staff was very friendly. Facilities were nice and most important it was very close to Finland University where my daughter is starting next week. I definitely will stay again and recommended to friends.
Very comfortable establishment, centrally located.
Kid friendly and good location. Easy to get to.
This was a very clean room. The receptionist was very friendly during check in and each time we walked through the lobby. I was able to book our next stay that is over a year away. We enjoyed the sauna. This location was perfect for our visit with our son that lives in Hancock and attends MTU.
The location will be great for me, next year my son will be renting a house one street over! With that being said it's still a good location. The staff were very polite. Although it's not home, the room was clean and comfortable.
Disappointed there was no refrigerator in the room. Being there four nights it would have been nice to keep the food bill down by keeping some in a fridge. Haven't stayed in a hotel without a refrigerator in years.
Everything. The hotel was aged and the room was sparsely decorated. Had a tube TV and a table (to be used as a desk) with a chair. Room had a musty smell.
When we arrived they had a 2nd floor room for us. I have bad knees & asked if we could get a first floor & they moved somethings around & got us a first floor room. Made a great impression. Very friendly & helpful staff.
Really good sized room (king). Plenty of space for all of our stuff and to comfortably spread out without feeling cramped. Liked the front & back doors. The indoor pool was a real bonus since it was too cold to get in the lakes, giving us a relaxing end to our day. Affordable & covered all of our needs. Will stay here again!
If I recall right, this is the one place we stayed that did not have a mini fridge. That probably would be the only other thing I would ask for.
The hotel was a pleasure to work with. if you had a need, they were there to fulfill it. I had to take my son to the airport at 4:30AM and I asked the young lady on the desk if there was some coffee. She said "No, but it will only take me a minute to make some," and she did. If you wanted breakfast, lunch or dinner, you walked out one door and within 10 feet into a good restaurant. I will return.
They didn't have an elevator but I needed the exercise anyway!
Friendly folks work there . Clean and equipped rooms.
Your breakfast room is very small and very hot. LIttle room to move about and not seating for folks.
Located close to both Houghton and Hancock, good point for touring both above and below the twin cities.
good location to all local attractions
